Free home design advice from architects and interior designers at RDC conference

The Residential Design & Construction (RDC) conference will be held this Wednesday and Thursday (April 1 and 2) at the Seaport World Trade Center. Both days will offer free one-on-one sit-down consultations with both architects and interior designers to allow people to discuss their building, remodeling, and decorating challenges.

The general public is allowed to explore the exhibit hall on Wednesday from 4-8 pm and Thursday from 4-7 pm. to spend time among industry professionals, view exhibits of residential products and services, and attend demonstrations. Tickets are free for people that register by tomorrow, March 31. Walk-in registrants are just $15. Click here to register.

Features of interest during the public hours include:

  • More than 220 exhibitors presenting the latest ideas, technologies, products and services that have emerged in the industry.
  • Demonstrations covering topics such as window dressings, working with an architect, integrating solar power into your home, super-sizing small spaces, decorative gold paint, and much more.
  • Opening night reception from 5-7 p.m. to meet and mingle with some of the most respected architects, designers, and construction industry professionals in the Northeast.

  • Meet the Architect and Meet the Interior Designer -- an opportunity to consult (for free) with an architect or interior designer.

  • A special area of the exhibit floor reserved for New England artisans who design handcrafted, innovative materials and products for the residential market
